. Foreward — I have played Kaena in some form or another for almost ten years now. I first thought of her in mid-to-late 2001, approximately two years after the creation of my first true roleplaying character, Stormy Blackwolf-Apollyon. I first played Kaena at Murmuring Falls, but that shut down, as did the Wild Wolf Society when I brought her there. In the summer of 2002, I brought her to Bleeding Souls, and there she stuck—sort of. I've always been on-and-off again, I suppose, but Kaena has been my primary character for the better part of five years now, at least since I killed off Stormy.

She has had roughly the same appearance, personality, and basic storyline for her entire duration, though I have certainly altered her here and there at many different times throughout her lifetime, hence why some things in the archive don't make any sense at all. I've fiddled with her age at least twice, since I started her out at four years old (her original birthdate was in 1997). Her background information was very different when I played her at WWS & especially Murmuring Falls, but that was so long ago I don't have any recollection of it. Her appearance has been essentially the same for her whole existence, though when I started her at Murmuring Falls, she was in fact a pureblooded wolf. When I fell in love with her character following that and had to port her elsewhere, she became a coyote hybrid for the WWS. I don't believe she was partially dog until she came to 'Souls, and even then, that quarter of her blood was only added a year or two into 'Souls. But I've mostly settled on the basic things about her the last three or four major times I've played her, and so the only thing that's changed about her recently have been the addition of some scars and a tattoo. :]
. Kaena made her mark in Bleeding Souls—she was a troublemaker from the start, and has fueled a few conflicts between groups in the game. During her second period of leadership of the clan, she incited a war between Inferni and Aremys, a neighboring pack, leading the coyotes to drive the pack halfway across the territory to relative safety over a scrap of land. Not only this, but Kaena has had four litters while played at Bleeding Souls, with thirteen children surviving to adulthood and numerous grandchildren. The Lykoi family is one of the larger clans at 'Souls, and Kae was just one freaking wolf. I guess that's what I get for breeding her like a crazy person. D:

. 17SEP09 — Just a few minor updates—readded some of the images on the profile page, resorted the detailed history into chapters, fiddled with the archives and split Archive B up so there are roughly fifty threads per archive, which should be the number from now on. Unfortunately, prior times I've quit I didn't think to stop roleplaying at exactly fifty threads, so some of them are off balance, naturally. ;] There are other minor updates here and there, including massive traditional images I've added on the Gallery page. Maybe someday I will grab thumbnails for all of them, maybe not. There's a lot of junk there, and maybe 10 images total that are worth displaying. :P [~Sie]
